After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perrysburg, the Northview Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 win over Onsted.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was JT Hill, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Hill scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Ayden Davis, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Northview now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Onsted, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Northview will head out on the road to face off against Beechcroft at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Beechcroft knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Northview likes a good challenge. Onsted's road trip will continue as they head out to face Freeland at 11:00 a.m. on January 6th.
