Lynbrook entered their tilt with Fremont on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Firebirds. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Keyi Xue paced Lynbrook's offense, picking up 13 kills. Xue got some help from Ivy Kuo and her 20 assists. Lana Weshahy controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from Zoe Shie, who had 11 digs. Shie is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Lynbrook now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fremont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Lynbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Basis Independent Silicon Valley on the 9th. As for Fremont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Presentation on the 6th.
