The Bowen Boilermakers won the last time they faced the Longwood Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Bowen came out on top against Longwood by a score of 37-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bowen.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kimora Myles, who scored 19 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Myles has scored at least 25% of Bowen's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delia Walker, who scored 11 points.
Bowen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Longwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Bowen will head out on the road to face off against Solorio at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Solorio comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Longwood, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tilden at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Tilden: 13.8, Longwood: 15.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
