They put the hurt on McAdory with a sharp 51-28 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Midfield has posted yet this season.
Midfield was led to victory by Jazmin Johnson and Kamiya Webb. Johnson scored 18 points, while Webb dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Webb is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lauren Stokes, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Midfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for McAdory, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midfield will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Tarrant at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Tarrant is out to stop a nine-game streak of losses at home. As for McAdory, they will head out on the road to face off against Oak Mountain at 12:15 p.m. on Monday. Oak Mountain is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
