Jonathan Alder barely beat Indian Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 14-3 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jonathan Alder is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Indian Lake, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Jonathan Alder will be playing in front of their home fans against Tecumseh at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Indian Lake, they will venture away from home to face off against Graham Local at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
