Bison is 0-10 against Timber Lake since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bison Cardinals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Timber Lake Panthers at 6:30 p.m.
Bison suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 57-34 walloping at the hands of Dupree. Bison has struggled against Dupree recently, as their matchup on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their loss, Bison saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Rylee Veal, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. That was a full 47.1% of Bison's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Colt Kopren, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Timber Lake entered their tilt with Kadoka with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Timber Lake skirted past Kadoka 39-37. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Timber Lake has scored all year.
Bison's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Timber Lake, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
