The Parke Heritage Wolves will face off against the South Putnam Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parke Heritage is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Parke Heritage had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt North Vermillion on Wednesday. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 21-6 margin over the Falcons. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.
Jerrid Graves made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Graves was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Parke Heritage's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-8 when he doesn't).
