Even though the Turpin Cardinals scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Balko Bison still came out on top. Balko managed a 65-60 win over Turpin. The win made it back-to-back wins for Balko.
Despite the loss, Turpin still got an impressive performance from Bryson Parker, who scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunner Post, who scored 15 points.
Balko's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Turpin, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Balko will square off against Tyrone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tyrone will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Balko is ranked 136th). As for Turpin, they will head out on the road to square off against Mooreland at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mooreland and Turpin are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
