The Milton Eagles can now show off 18 landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past Mount Pisgah Christian 82-60. The win was familiar territory for Milton who now have ten in a row.
Leading Milton to victory were Londyn Walker and Nya Smith. Walker dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 assists, while Smith shot 4-for-8 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine rebounds. Smith is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Young, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Milton pushed their record up to 22-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.
Milton's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Forsyth at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. South Forsyth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Milton is ranked 20th). Mount Pisgah Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
