Antelope Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Archie, who scored 12 points. Kiwan Sims was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

That's the first time this season that Carter posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Wydell James, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Antelope Valley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Eastside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-16.

Highland has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21. As for Eastside, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Palmdale at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th.
