Central Crossing was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Worthington Kilbourne on Tuesday. The Central Crossing Comets took their game with ease, bagging a 65-36 victory over the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Worthington Kilbourne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Luke Page, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds. Worthington Kilbourne is 2-1 when Page posts eight or more boards, but 5-13 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tate Rich, who posted six points.

Central Crossing's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will welcome Grove City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Crossing is facing Grove City at the right time seeing as Grove City is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westerville South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
