Softball Recap: Dakota Valley's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dakota Valley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Dakota Valley pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Dakota Valley will host Madison on June 5. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
