Mountain View Christian Academy won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and Joshua Owens did his part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 61-35 margin over Varsity Opponent on Thursday with plenty of help from Owens, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 27 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 16.4 points per game.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Mountain View Christian Academy will take on Temple Academy at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they are taking a road trip to take on Premier Prep- PHHoenix Open at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent's defense better be ready for this one: the Fire Frogs have averaged an impressive 71.5 points per game this season.
