West Side's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Calico Rock, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Side will square off against Hillcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Side knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with flashy run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Hillcrest likes a good challenge.
