After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Essex, Rappahannock was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Colonial Beach Drifters to the tune of 63-14. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 38 points or more this season.
Rappahannock had a senior duo take command as Kenneth Madison rushed for 142 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries and Cj Kelly rushed for 68 yards and one TD. The Raiders are undefeated when Madison posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Rappahannock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colonial Beach only rushed for 16.
Rappahannock's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Colonial Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
