After a string of ten wins, Ida's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Bedford Kicking Mules. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Ida was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22.

Ida's defeat dropped their record down to 17-19-1. As for Bedford, they pushed their record up to 28-13 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

Ida wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 1st. As for Bedford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lenawee Christian on the 1st.
