Layna Lowry turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits (and only one walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with two or fewer walks. This season, she has an ERA of 2.33 over 93 innings pitched.

Coming up, Lowry and Jay will challenge Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowry had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game last Thursday 9-1.
