Nick Vaughan looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Nate Peek was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Ashton Green was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Hampton hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Phoebus struck out 11 times.
Meanwhile, Warwick made easy work of Nandua on Friday and carried off an 11-4 victory.
Hampton's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Warwick, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
