Basketball Recap: Orange Park Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Orange Park had won three straight games and Ella Crowe did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Beachside Barracudas, sneaking past 45-43 for which the team can thank Crowe, who posted 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals. She has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last six times she's played.

Morgan Cremen and Madilyn Ray certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Cremen shot 43% from the field to rack up 23 points along with eight boards and seven assists, while Ray almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 blocks. That was a full 53.5% of Beachside's points, marking the third time in a row Cremen has had more than a third of the team's points. Ella Rae Bauman was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Orange Park's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Beachside, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-4.

Coming up, Orange Park will face off against Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beachside and ED White will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
