Caseville is 0-10 against the Wildcats since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Caseville Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Mayville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Caseville had to suffer through a rough 75-43 loss at the hands of the Cardinals.
Meanwhile, Mayville suffered a rough 52-27 loss at the hands of the Eagles on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mayville has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mason Halsne, who scored seven points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Caseville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Mayville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
Caseville suffered a grim 62-38 defeat to the Wildcats in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Caseville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
