Buckeye breezed by Glendale on the road to the tune of 73-10. Given Buckeye's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Glendale is ranked 164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Isabel Ramirez, who scored 20 points. Kiria Avila escarcega was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and four steals.
The win was the third in a row for Buckeye, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. As for Glendale, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Buckeye won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Canyon View will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Glendale will take on Metro Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
