It was another big night for Zion McRae, who scored 26 points along with 7 steals for The Villages Charter. That makes it two consecutive games in which McRae has scored at least 25% of The Villages Charter's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evah Watterson, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals.
Tavares' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for The Villages Charter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tavares will challenge Mount Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Villages Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 4th.
