The Depew Wildcats couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost to Randolph at home by a decisive 51-36 margin on Tuesday.
Quinn Pence continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Randolph, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. The matchup was Pence's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Gianna Bowles, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Depew's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Randolph, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
Depew will be home for the holidays to greet Nichols at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nichols is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Randolph will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
