It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Riverside ultimately got the result it was hoping for on Friday. They snuck past Elmer L. Meyers with a 27-21 win. The score was all tied up at the break, but Riverside was the better team in the second half. This was the first game for both teams, giving Riverside a 1-0 record and starting Elmer L. Meyers off at 0-1.
Next week, Riverside take on Carbondale Area at 7:00 PM. As for Elmer L. Meyers, they will face of against Northwest Area.
