 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Erynn Thompson, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Grace Anderson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
 Hanover's defeat  ended  a  16-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 21-2. As for Woodgrove, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.
 Hanover does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodgrove, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Jefferson Forest at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Jefferson Forest is coming into the  contest with five straight  wins on the road,  so Woodgrove will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
