The Ellet Orangemen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 77-38 victory over North at home. Considering Ellet has won four matchups by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Caitlyn Holmes, who scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals. The match was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenadie Keith, who scored 14 points.
Ellet has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for North, they bumped their record down to 3-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Ellet will face off against Garfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North will be home for the holidays to greet Firestone at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Firestone and North are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
