The Antelope Titans suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. Their tough 92-69 loss to Inderkum might stick with them for a while. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (65), Antelope still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Antelope still got an impressive performance from Juleean Alias, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Alias has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Mitchell, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Inderkum got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Butler out in front who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Butler has scored all season. Siincere Hudson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight assists and three steals.
Antelope has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Inderkum, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antelope will take on Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcreek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Antelope in California (Woodcreek is ranked 105th, while Antelope is ranked 274th). As for Inderkum, they will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
