The Calvary Baptist Knights had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The match between Calvary Baptist and Bayview Christian wasn't particularly close, with Calvary Baptist falling 37-20. Calvary Baptist lost against Bayview Christian in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 38-14 score last time.
Bayview Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Whitney Larmore, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Larmore has scored at least 25% of Bayview Christian's points. Skyler D'Armi was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 26 rebounds.
Calvary Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bayview Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Calvary Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bayview Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Milford Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
