Lyman has won four straight games at home, while Mountain View has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much  on Friday. After both having extra time off,  the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
Lyman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Wyoming's top teams: Lovell, who was ranked sixth  at the time (Lyman was ranked 19th). The Eagles took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Saturday.
Meanwhile,  Mountain View unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Cody by a score of  3-2. While the Buffalos didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Broncs  25-18 in the first  set.
 Mountain View took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-18, 27-29, 25-16,  15-10.
 Mountain View's  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 17-12-1. As for Lyman, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Friday's  contest:  Lyman has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 4.7  aces per game. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 8.6  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
