Mt. Pulaski lost to Midwest Central back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Hilltoppers came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hilltoppers.

Mt. Pulaski easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

Olivia Smith paced Mt. Pulaski's offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Alyson Murphy and her 22 assists. Elayna Marten and Addison Brown kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Mt. Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Midwest Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

Mt. Pulaski has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Unity Christian on the 16th. As for Midwest Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Peoria Christian on the 16th.
