Amari Coley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of David Nnaji, who scored ten points.
When it comes to explaining why Central Valley lost on Wednesday, one person who can't be blamed is Sahibjot Deal. Despite the final result, he scored eight points.
Patterson's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 20.25 points. As for Central Valley, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Patterson will head out on the road to face off against Atwater at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Atwater has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Central Valley, they will be playing at home against Merced at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Merced presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central Valley in California (Merced is ranked 513th, while Central Valley is ranked 1111th).
