Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 66-45 to the North Mustangs. On the bright side, the 45- point performance marked the Knights' highest-scoring contest to date.

Loss or not, Metro Tech got some senior leadership from Luis Gamboa and Jacquon Banks. Gamboa posted 15 points, while Banks dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Lopez, who put up six points and three steals.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for North, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

Metro Tech has already played their next game, a 118-31 loss against Fairfax on the 12th. North and Alhambra will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 70.45 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
