The Tiverton Tigers are taking a road trip to  face off against the Times Squared Academy Eagles  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Tiverton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Tiverton's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They blew past Exeter-West Greenwich 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jersey-Ann Hastie and  Sara Poland did most of the damage at the plate:  Hastie  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Poland  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  stolen bases  Poland has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Brooke Sowa, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Tiverton  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least one batters  in three consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Times Squared Academy came up short against  Hope on Monday, falling  24-16. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Tiverton pushed their record up to 11-0 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Times Squared Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
 Everything went Tiverton's way against Times Squared Academy in their previous matchup  back in May of 2018, as Tiverton made off with  a  17-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
