Sumner's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Immanuel Kelly, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Kelly is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Bennard Anson was another key player, shooting 54% from the field on his way to 18 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
Gulf lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Antwon Brown, who went 5-for-8 en route to 13 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Victor Sowney, who posted 12 points.
