Maddex Sims turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Thursday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Thursday's match, in which he outscored his previous point total for four consecutive games.

Coming up, Sims and Woodrow Wilson will welcome Shady Spring at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
