Muenster is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Lindsay is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hornets will host the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Muenster's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Chico as they made off with a 21-0 win. The Hornets have beaten the Dragons the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Dragons has come to flipping the script.

Brynlee Berend was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Kay Hennigan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Muenster always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .649. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chico only posted an OBP of .214.
Meanwhile, Lindsay got the win against Era on Friday by a conclusive 18-0.
EmmaRae Cox and Kylie Hielckert did most of the damage at the plate: Cox went 3-for-4 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three RBI, while Hielckert scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Cox is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Reagan Swaney was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Lindsay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Muenster, their win bumped their record up to 16-7-1.
Lindsay's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Muenster has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lindsay, though, as they've been averaging only 3.3 strikeouts. Will Muenster keep running through batters, or will the Knights buck the trend?
Muenster took their victory against Lindsay when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-6 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
