Soccer Recap: Capital City Public Charter School Finishes Even with Archbishop Carroll

For the first time this season, Capital City Public Charter School was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Archbishop Carroll Lions could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Gladys Guevara hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Capital City Public Charter School's goal came courtesy of Adriana Guevara, who's now up to four this season.

Capital City Public Charter School's draw gives them a new season record of 1-3-1. Meanwhile, Archbishop Carroll's record is now 0-2-1.

Coming up, Capital City Public Charter School will square off against Idea at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Capital City Public Charter School their first taste of in-conference action this season. Archbishop Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
