Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haskell). They claimed a resounding 69-41 win over the Porter Pirates. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Haymakers as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Haskell's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Porter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Haskell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-43 defeat against Chouteau-Mazie on the 20th. As for Porter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 76-42 loss against Summit Christian Academy on the 20th.
