Riverfield Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against River Oaks at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Riverfield Academy's way against Porter's Chapel Academy last Friday as they made off with a 46-14 win.
River Oaks came within a touchdown against East Rankin Academy last week, but wound up with a 14-28 loss.
Riverfield Academy's victory lifted them to 1-1 while River Oaks's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Riverfield Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if River Oaks can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Riverfield Academy's step.
