The Hough Huskies have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charlotte Latin.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Galombeck, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacquelyn Jakubecy, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Hough's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Charlotte Latin, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
Hough and Myers Park will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Charlotte Latin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hammond at 4:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
