Sam Vanneste has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Fowler team this season and he led the team again on Monday. Vanneste was dialed in as he went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He was dominant the last time he took on Perry on Monday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Vanneste has become a key player for Fowler: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Vanneste and Fowler will look to defend their home field on Thursday against St. Patrick at 4:00 p.m. The Eagles will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 188 places lower in Michigan), but they're not letting that get them down.
