A Season-Best Performance from Nathan Axmann Leads Waverly over Norris
Waverly was led to victory by Nathan Axmann, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Axmann rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Waverly's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Axmann and Waverly will host Pius X at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Andreasen As Pius X Won 40-0
Joseph Andreasen was a major factor in Pius X's win over Beatrice on Friday. Andreasen was dynamite, rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
Beatrice had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Andreasen it was a similar story. Andreasen rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Orangemen duked it out back in October of 2023.

Beatrice was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Merrick Johnson did his best to prevent it. Johnson was unstoppable, rushing for 32 yards.
