The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Sedan Devils at 6:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Cedar Vale/Dexter and four for the Devils.
Last Tuesday, Cedar Vale/Dexter came up short against the Mustangs and fell 35-23.
Despite the defeat, Cedar Vale/Dexter saw an underclassman step up: Gracie Webb scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Sedan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 49-43 to the Eagles.
Cedar Vale/Dexter has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Sedan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Cedar Vale/Dexter barely slipped by the Devils when the teams last played back in January, winning 53-52. Will Cedar Vale/Dexter repeat their success, or do the Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
