Football Recap: Frazier Gets the Win

Frazier proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 35-33 victory over the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions. For the Commodores, this counts as revenge for the 31-8 win the Centurions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Greensburg Central Catholic lost, don't look at Samir Crosby. Despite the final result, he rushed for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 62 yards and one TD. Jerry Davis also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.

Frazier is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Frazier will take on rival Springdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greensburg Central Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Leechburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
