There's no place like home for Vanguard, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They blew past the West Port Wolf Pack 8-0 on Wednesday. Considering the Knights have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit West Port with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ashlyn Wan (3), Ruby Scott (2), Camila Cala (2), and Carly Davis.

Vanguard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-1-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those nine matchups. As for West Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Vanguard has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Forest on the 10th. As for West Port, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Dunnellon on the 9th.
