Middleton has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Bradford Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradford took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Middleton, who comes in off a win.
Middleton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-37 victory over Clarksburg at home. Given Middleton's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Rockets are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Kemora Buggs, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ro'naia Talley, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Bradford, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were beaten by Dresden 57-28 back in January.
Middleton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
