Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Sebring Blue Streaks walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 94-71 margin over the Seminoles. Winning may never get old, but Sebring sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Sebring had a senior duo take command as Kj Turner almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine assists and Jordan Gregory scored 25 points along with six rebounds. Turner has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sylvester Lewis, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Sebring's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Southeast, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
Sebring will head out on the road to square off against St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sebring has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 326 points over their last four matches. Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
