The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cranbrook Kingswood in their matchups with Lutheran North: they've now lost eight in a row.
It was another big night for Joshua Brown, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds for Lutheran North. Brown has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ben Petersdorf, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Cranbrook Kingswood's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lutheran North, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4.
Cranbrook Kingswood will take on Richard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richard presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cranbrook Kingswood in Michigan (Richard is ranked 22nd, while Cranbrook Kingswood is ranked 608th). As for Lutheran North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
