Softball Recap: Mapleton Has No Trouble Against South Central

Mapleton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played South Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Mounties were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday. The Mounties might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The victory got Mapleton back to even at 11-11. As for South Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-15 record.

Coming up, Mapleton will take on Canton Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lucas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cubs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.81 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
