Ethan Latta Drops League-Best Effort on Thursday
Starting off the list is Dundy County-Stratton's Ethan Latta, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Latta picked up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (105.3) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 65 yards.
Dundy County-Stratton's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers dukes it out withAlma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dante Horner put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Thursday. He threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 73 yards on only seven carries.
This season, Horner has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 134.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 34.5 rushing yards.

Big Game from Cacy As Arapahoe Won 56-16
Arapahoe picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to William Cacy. Cacy was unstoppable, rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cacy must have Alma's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Cacy last faced the Cardinals back in September of 2023, he rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 49 receiving yards.

Grayson Koller's Big Game Leads Arapahoe over Alma
Grayson Koller's big game helped extend Arapahoe's winning streak to six on Friday. Koller did his part (and then some), rushing for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the year, Koller has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 67.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 33.33 rushing yards per game.

Another Dundy County-Stratton player making an appearance on this list is August Shaw. He picked up 15 receiving yards and a touchdown.
